Band: Voice Of Ruin

Voice Of Ruin band

Formed in 2008 on the shores of Lake Geneva, Voice Of Ruin first started playing every show they have been offered around Switzerland, from local squats, to bars, to proper venues, until they finally crossed their national border to pursue their journey in Europe and in various parts of the world. Since its creation, the band has always focused its attention on one thing: sharing its passion and commitment with the largest crowd possible.

To this day, Voice Of Ruin has played in more than 10 different countries, on two continents, scoring an impressive 200 shows and sharing the stage with bands like Sepultura, Hatebreed, Children Of Bodom, Suicide Silence, Samael, The Black Dahlia Murder, Caliban, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Entombed or Crowbar.

October 2016, the band landed in Cardiff (UK) to record their latest album under the helm of Romesh Dodangoda (Motorhead, Bring Me The Horizon, Bullet For My Valentine, Sylosis…). With a firm belief in their craft and music, Voice Of Ruin is now back with „Purge and Purify“, a second album mastered by Jens Bogren (Amon Amarth, Arch Enemy, Opeth…) and with a cover art signed by Travis Smith (Soilwork, Opeth, Katatonia…). With its 10 songs, this album is musically and lyrically more committed than ever, taking a fierce shot at this delusional and hopeless world humans live in.
