„A Small District“ entstand im Jahr 2011, als Remo Dal Farra und Adrian Wasser sich zusammensetzten, um zu musizieren. Bald wurde aus der Idee, ein Projekt zu lancieren, eine konkrete Angelegenheit: 2011 begannen die beiden, gezielt Lieder für eine Band zu komponieren. Um die vakanten Chargen zu besetzen, suchten Dal Farra und Wasser Musiker, die nicht nur als solche, sondern auch menschlich zur Band passten. Für die Position am Schlagzeug fanden sie schliesslich Avinash Moser. Als Sänger kam Björn Krebs in die Formation. Ende 2012 war die Band damit komplett. Im Frühjahr 2013 begannen die Bandproben. Im Sommer/Herbst 2013 veröffentlichte „A Small District“ die erste Demo-CD, die drei Songs enthält. Sie wurde in Eigenregie aufgenommen und produziert.
„A Small District“ was created in 2011 when Remo Dal Farra and Adrian Wasser came together to make music. To fill in the vacant positions, Dal Farra and Wasser searched for musicians that not only fit as musicians but were also tuned to the same wavelength. For the drums, they finally found Avinash Moser. As a singer, Björn Krebs completed the formation. By the end of 2012, „A Small District“ was complete. In spring of 2013, the band began with rehearsing. In summer/autumn 2013 „A Small District“ has published the first demo containing three songs. It was recorded and produced autonomously.
